Tamron Car Rain Test Room is mainly used to assess whether the housing/seal of electrical and electronic products can ensure the good working performance and technical status of the equipment and components after or during the water test. At the same time, the product may be affected by water during transportation or use, providing a reference basis for product technical standards.
Check whether the windows and sunroofs are installed, the roof and sides of military vehicles, cars, and agricultural vehicles can withstand rain spray, whether the sealing performance is reliable, and whether the installation method is correct.
It is suitable for testing the waterproof sealing of outdoor motor vehicles. Through the rain room, the rain test conditions are similar to the natural state outside to confirm the water sealing status of the car, and implement structural improvements on parts that may leak.

The car rain test room is used to test the water seepage and leakage of the car as a whole or its parts under different intensities of rain, to check the waterproof performance of the car products, and to provide a reference for improving products and research and development. In real life, cars will encounter rain impact, puddle splashing, etc. when driving on the road, so the car rain test room should simulate high-intensity rain when designing its structure.
When designing a car rain test room, it is necessary to conduct rain tests in all directions. The intensity and angle of the water spray should be appropriate and meet national standards. In addition, the water supply system of the car rain test room should be considered. It should be able to ensure that there is no water shortage, recycle water for testing, filter and remove impurities from the water, and recycle water. The car rain test room must ensure that water can be sprayed on the car windows from the side and top of the car, and water spray tests can be carried out in all directions . During the water spray test, the water pressure and flow should meet national standards.
Functional structure and equipment of the car rain test room
1. Shower area
The rainproof sealing test device of the car window must ensure that water is sprayed on the car window from the side and top to avoid dead angles of water spraying, and ensure that the water spraying pressure and flow rate correspond to the national standards for various parts of the car. The frame structure of the shower room is simple and beautiful while ensuring rust and shock resistance. The entire equipment is easy to operate and convenient for the inspection and maintenance of parts. This equipment mainly includes: spray system, water replenishment system, water circulation system, sewage system, electronic control system, etc.
2. Spray system
The entire shower room spray system is mainly composed of pipes, nozzles, valves, filters, water pumps, display devices, etc.
2.1. Pipeline
Main pipe: All sprinkler pipes are made of stainless steel; the inner diameter of the water pump suction pipe is 150mm, the inner diameter of the top of the water pump water supply main pipe is 100mm, and the inner diameter of the water supply main pipe on both sides from the water pump outlet to the bottom of the flow meter is 100mm.
Branch pipe: Stainless steel pipe is used for spray branch, with a diameter of 32mm.
2.2. Nozzle
An adjustable plastic nozzle is used. The spray state is a solid cone with a cone angle of 60 degrees. The water spray angle, the top nozzle is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, and the nozzle design meets national standards. The nozzles are arranged in a grid array, and there is no blank area in the spray area. The nozzle can be adjusted appropriately according to the spray angle. According to the design basis, 6 water nozzles are arranged in the shower room, and the horizontal and vertical spacing of the nozzles is 400mm, with a total of 850 water nozzles, 240 water nozzles on the top, 210 water nozzles on the left side, 210 water nozzles on the right side, 130 water nozzles on the bottom, 30 water nozzles on the front, and 30 water nozzles on the tail.
The distance between the nozzle and the corresponding outer surface of the vehicle body: 700mm on the roof, 620mm on both sides, and there is no movable nozzle.
The axis of the top nozzle is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, and the axis of the side nozzle is perpendicular to the longitudinal symmetry plane of the vehicle.
2.3. Filtering device
Installing two layers of filtering devices in the water pool can effectively filter impurities in the circulating water of the circulating water pool and reduce nozzle blockage. When the water replenishment reaches the set maximum liquid level, the mechanical device closes the water replenishment pipe.
